Lee (Xinyuan Li) is a Set and Lighting Designer based in Los Angeles. He obtained dual master's degrees in Scenic and Lighting Design from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Lighting Design from Shanghai Theatre Academy in China. Lee is currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Occidental College in LA, and a member of George Tsypin Opera Factory Studio and James F. Ingalls Lighting Studio.

As a Studio Assistant, he has been closely involved in productions including "The Gambler" & "One Morning turns into an Eternity" at the Salzburg Festival in Austria, "Beatrice Di Tenda" at Paris Bastille Opera, ballet "The Art of Fugue" at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Guinness Largest Stage "The Great Qin" in Xi'an, China, concert "Monochromatic Light (Afterlife)" at Park Avenue Armory in NY, and "The Seagull" & "Once Before I Go" in Ireland.

Lee has received LA Theatre Bites Best Lighting Award in 2024, Cultural Voice of North Carolina Best Design (scenic) in 2023 & 2024, Chatham Life & Style Best of Triangle Theatre Outstanding Scenic Design in 2023 & 2022.
